me and my brother ended up hiking the rock in the distance, we were up +6700 ft
i spent the last day of 2011 with my dad and brother in sequoia national park breathing clean air amongst redwoods and and hiking up moro rock to see 360 views of valleys and mountains. we spent a good amount of time listening to the who and led zeppelin, reflecting on the year that's past and making plans for 2012. it was by far the best way to end the year. there's also a wicked light streak running through my rolls from the hasselblad due to a faulty back so i have to start taping it up.

get out of town more often, even if its for a day trip.
